according to the experts trucking is looking at 5% to 10% rate increases this year. i'm wondering how much of that would be intermodal or if true how about the trickling down effect to o/o truckers who pull cans from the harbor

25% increase right away! Minimum of 5% a year for 5 years and we still wouldn't be up to where we should be. Tell your companies that!

most these drivers i work with are just happy to be riding high in the saddle. big shot steering wheel holders who couldn't tell ya how much per mile it cost to operate their own truck. they're more worried about who the new skirt is at the local fuel stop then the pump price. these dummies would be better off driving a company owned truck whereby the stupid decisions they make to pull cheap freight don't make the company question why i leave the same box parked on the yard. sorry but i am fed up with these cowboys who call them self o,o truckers but dont bother or dont know how to keep daily expense records.
