Yes sir, there is going to be a lot of trucks for sale when this strike is over with. Ther'll be a number of tractors abandoned on their own motor carriers yard. There will be voluntary and involuntary sales. Those trucking company lease purchase boys and girls will never get out of dept. Thank GOD my ride has been paid for twelve years now. And people wonder why I drive the same old tractor. Well first off most old Peterbilts dont ever die but also if it aint broke why trade it for another one with big payments. My truck hauls the same freight as a $150,000.00 truck does and probably for a much better highway rate. I don't have to work cheap to meet the payments each month so I can be really picky of loads. That's the real reason behind some of these companies wanting trucks no older then eight years old. They want you by the b@lls. I can work at my own pace and put that cash in the bank

well maybe they won't strike. the weak economy couldn't take a blow like this so hopefully good sense will prevail in the end. if not like the majority of u i won't be taking my truck into harms way or violating their picket lines so the company i work for will have one less truck here at the port to move freight.

why wait until after the strike? mine is for sale now. do yourself a favor. buy your husband a truck for christmas. you'll be glad you did. less time together while he spends days or weeks on the road or stuck at the port. think of the fun you can have while the cat is away

I'm glad my ride is paid for. This will be more like an extended vacation for me. LOL to those who are under big payments. I think I'll go mosey around down at the waterfront when the ILA bomb goes off. If truckers had their act together we could cause a little disturbance of our own at the same time those union boys do their dog and pony show but driver support is lacking in that department. Too bad!
