are we doing anything in savannah? how many drivers know about this? i asked around at the port today. very few know anything so i told them to come to this site . drivers i talked with do want to see a group formed. at least something that will keep everyone up on current events. we should put a flyer out to see how many show up. anyone have an idea on this?

OK / HOW MANY DRIVERS DO YOU KNOW THAT REALLY GIVE A S#!T WHERE YOU WORK? OUT OF THIRTY SIX AT MY COMPANY I KNOW THREE I WOULD CONSIDER HAD ANY PLAN IN LIFE. THE REST ARE THOUGHTLESS ZOMBIES PLACED THERE TO SERVE OUR IGNORANT DISPATCHERS EVERY COMMAND. MAYBE THE PROPER TERM WOULD BE BUTT KISSERS!

a better word would be morons. we have so many morons behnd the wheel in sugar town that rates will never change. they are happy going broke because they do not know how much cost are to operate own truck. when asked what they need to mke these morons do not know how to answer that. first problem to solve in sugar town before holding a meeting is how to have a brain storm session with brain dead people? sorry but had tell truth. thus is not going to be easy for anyone to find magic bullet. lol

i still don't understand how anyone feels they could be making any money running their truck for a dollar per mile? that may have been true back in 1973 maybe but not so today. no wonder most these port drivers are going broke. it should be mandatory to pass a financial training course in order to acquire a cdl in every state. also a course on simple roadside truck repairs would be a great idea. i know two owner-operators, or should i say steering wheel holders making weekly payments to their company, who don't have a clue how to even change a fuel filter unless dropping the truck off at their local shop. now that really sucks!
