Read this on JOC: 13 Feb 2015 - An independent Australian government tribunal will consider whether to set new work rules or pay standards for the nation's drayage drivers, as well as other truckers, in 2015.
Thought that maybe what we in this industry might need is a national class action petition.
Starting with this from Vancouver's list:
• Paid wait-time after 90 minutes at the ports; and
• A 12% increase in trip rates over 2006 established rates along with a 16% fuel surcharge.
