Enjoy everyone, the movement is starting in the east again.. Make it grow, join up.. This is the official porttrucker facebook page for everyone to join.. There's more in store soon. This not just one port but every trucker moving port freight in the east is invited to join. Port cargo is everything that moves into or out of the docks or inland rail yards. Watch the membership grow. Power is in numbers. Want to get someones attention? Grow the numbers.. This happened many years back but their was a confusion of action plans. Let's see how large this movement becomes and how fast we grow adequate numbers! www.facebook.com/pages/Porttrucker/878945348839647

FINALLY! A serious contender on Facebook. Instead of a playpen movement thirteen months have gone to waste. Plenty of selfies and self-aggrandizing. Now a salesman for vests that the ports requires. See anything wrong with this picture. Sorry, it's not on Funny-Facebook. Laughable. LMAO!
P.S. ilovdieselsmoke, good first impression. Lets motivate, not wait on a meetings to promote for the ports. Everyday I go to port I have my phone ready with speed dial numbers to call and speed MY process. I feel that as the ports go automated, so do the drivers. I'll continue to dispel the notion as a One Man Crusade until the rest of the drivers get it.
Action is better than silence.

I feel maybe a change in the air. Something new hopefully soon in 2015. If successful this may be the year truckers find a voice to speak up to the seaport industry. These people tend to forget quickly who hauls their cans to the customer or drops them off after wasting millions of hours needlessly at their terminal facility. The time is upon us now to increase numbers. Reach out to serious truckers from Miami to Boston. It may soon come a time to remind this giant industry rubber wheels service the majority of their customers not propellers nor steel wheels on rail. They need to understand this, they need to especially feel an example of this.

I guess that exclude FTBT, uh ilovdieselsmoke? It's sad, the narcissist director & founder initiative is not included.

Look stupid? It's too late for that. Continue to wait at the port for 3>4 hrs, while you build the numbers. Silly!

A daily dose of really to disillusionment. I will continue to dispel the notions of FTBG and the so-call likes that follow the clown on their site but do nothing to suggest or help with the problems on a daily basis. Some happen to be terminal mgrs (Hale, for one) and others that mislead the selfie clown to believe he is do something. Duh!
Think drivers. There's a difference out there with active players being proactive(behind the scenes) on a daily basis every time you go into the ports. They are modest, honest, hard working and experience drivers. They empowerment comes from within, not bestowed (or selfie posted). Likes anyone? Poke you, Ha!

Someone wrote this on Porttrucker.com...
A large number of independent truckers along the southeast Atlantic are now talking of coordinating a work action late summer sometime during the peak season of holiday shipping. Leaders of this latest movement already have a few dates in mind. Conditions are poor as ever in intermodal trucking. Most rates truckers are paid by the motor carriers coupled with waiting times at port related facilities, for lack of a better word, SUCK! Many drivers have reached the breaking point. It been years since port truckers took any large action at more that one port so we'll see if this gains traction along the coast in weeks to come..
Here we go again? - Who's talking?

FTBT FLASH⚡
Reservation System Announcement
The truck reservation system is designed to regulate and expedite the flow of traffic through the NIT gate. Unlike last year’s “Boarding Pass” program, this system is fully integrated with the Terminal and Gate operating systems....
