Anyone got any opinions about Crown Transport in Savannah/Garden City/Port Wentworth GA??
I'm relocating to the Sav area and have been asked to pull for them but know nothing of these people.
I welcome all opinions.
Afterall its the local drivers that know who to stay away from and the best places to eat-- Quack Quack!!

That company is run or belongs to Ricky Prevett. Don't know anything other than he has been around in this area a long time.

Well then it sounds like this may be a company to go pull for.
No one has posted anything bad about Crown. I've been contacted by a couple companies since March 1st all wanting drivers "bad" all saying they have "too much freight" and so on.
Outta all of them I narrowed it down to a few
TFX PB Express PB Industries and Crown Transport
So I thought I post here and see what the locals have to say. I read somewhere on this forum lots of bad blood toward TFX and PB Express but never seen PB Industries nor Crown anywhere on this forum.
I might be taking Crown up on their offer. thanks guys

a lot of these so-called non asset trucking companies are not individual owned but owned by a central mother corporation hub set up to make money off each agent competing against other agents within same ownership family for same freight. truckers are the losers stuck with super cheap freight from lowest bidder. the mother company always wins because one of the whore family member companies wins the freight no matter what the price. they make theirs the company makes their commission and you get sh*t.

You mean like this? TSS Group trucking companies include CDS Transport, CDS Brokerage, Time Brokerage, Time Dispatch, Gilco Trucking, Rush Transport and Transportation Incorporated. All these owned by same group competing against the next agent for the box

Never heard much about crown good or bad except that they run thier company trucks over the O/O unless you owe them money. As far as the others on the list I would not reccomend any of them. Have heard all the horror stories about the PB,BP and lived the one at TFX. Just one opinion.
