Where is everybody??Cat got your tongue??IT IS TIME- All of us need to unite.Company drivers and O/O,Men and women drivers,Black and White. What one does benefits or hurts us all. I was at APM 2 afternoons this week and what a jammed up mess it was.Just knew there would be arguing and attitudes waiting to get in the stack.Turned out that my fellow drivers were organized and respected each other and waited their turns.Nobody cut in line, drivers helped each other get backed thru the maze of trucks...I thought it was cool!! YOU GUYS ROCK !!!!

Having leased on to a couple of the larger companies in the past year,I foresee VA port drivers are going to have to organize if they wish to succeed.I agree-its time for all of us to move past all of the trivial B/S that keeps us from seeing how much we ALL have in common. I`m not a leader, but I would surely rally behind some good ones.Think I`m gonna advertise this site at the port and see if we can pick up more numbers.

i think we can pull that off soon. i know it has been a disaster before but the next attempt must come with lessons learned. we don't need to re-invent the wheel over and over. some of our southern neighbors who tried to help before are willing to offer help again. it's a question of will we listen this time or will big egos get in the way like the other times? we must try or simply remain at the bottom of the food chain like we are now. what kind of no brainier choice is that?

if we all continue to work together it will continue to get better. I was escorted out of that s#*t hole AMP yesterday for having a knife. I forgot I had it in the truck and that thingyhead security guard got in my truck and started digging through my personal belonings and found it under a tool box . I went off on his ass after that . I am surprised I am still allowed in there LOL

If it doesn`t piss anybody off,or step on any legal toes I will get some small(1 or 2 inch) stickers made like I saw @ NIT last year--www.porttrucker.Then when anybody thats interested sees them on my truck I will have some available at whatever they cost me.I have a friend in the business.Just wanna be sure there are n`t available thru this website. At least I don`t have to worry about being on some port companies s#*tlist over stickers/membership on MY truck.

The board has no problem with you doing that driver. In fact we encourage others to do same if they wish. That particular subject has come up before on several occasions. We were about to place an order first of the year but as usual got sidetracked with other business so we never followed though on arrangements. That's on the port trucker to do list @ project number 27. I think it's an important organizing idea so please let everyone know how it goes in Virginia.

Having them made now.Don`t know costs yet(thats the way he is). Will post costs as soon as I pick stickers up.Anxious to see Shortcircuits` decals. Somethings I do know: We ALL need to stick together and come up with a workable plan that benefits as a whole rather than one. We need to keep a close eye and ear to the happenings at other ports.Whatever changes at "their" port will change at ours soon.
