all i know is they pay awful cheap on local work. i found that out from a driver but when i called to ask what the otr work pays they couldn't give me one example. why? they don't know what any load they move pays to the owner operator? i find that hard to believe. i'm not wasting my time to drive over there or have a sit down chat if a company can't give me a simple example of what they pay over the phone. some of these outfits think we'll blindly start hauling boxes without checking them out. they become offended when asked what loads pay. i would think any legit company would have no problem answering any questions pertaining to work and be prepared for them. what gives?

About Trans International, now these guys pay $35 dollars a dray, but if you are lucky to get 6 you had a good day! If you want to work in the city, the pay is around the city average is $100.00 to get a box out of the port, load it, and then take it back into the port. These guys are dirty crooks! From what I have experienced when I was with them, they have 2 decent runs that pay well. JUST 2! Jesup, GA which is overweight but pays $276 and Newnan, GA. about $670 However they pay by the mile and they DO NOT pay 100% fuel surcharge.

Trans International doesnt like quoting their rates per Box, per move. However, they will tell you if you ask. I spend more time telling them no than yes to road moves. They only pay $35 per Dray and often only move 1 way. Bobtail at your expense. My truck spends more time parked than rolling. Only because I know ..just because the wheels turn doesnt mean your making a profit. Recently, a Manager quit because he got tired of hiding the fact that TRNJ was stealing the FSC. Then they brought in a new MGR and she lasted a week and quit. They are also skimming off the top on road moves. I guess they are struggling to survive. Many Companies I think are gonna Close this coming year because Drivers got tired of the Skimming and got their own numbers. Im one of them. My advice for TRNJ? Stay away. No matter how big the Bonus. They dont care about O/O. At least not yet.

Yesterday, TRNJ had the Drivers sign an addendum to the Contract staing that they are paying $35 each way for Ocean Terminal or Liberty Terminal. I told them I dont care. I wont be going there anytime soon.

Diesel Jockey, I dont know what their deal is. They recently fired a good dedicated guy. Citing he wouldnt act like a manager and that he needed Training. I thought he was an asset. Now they are bringing in a girl from OH who needs to be Trained. Yes I posted this right. On top of all this, they wont let you TripLease when its slow.

I got one even better! I was informed today that we are to scan our own Interchanges to Ohio. I was floored. I asked the Mgment why Im paying them 24%? They just laughed. They said they got too many complaints that Drivers accused them of not scanning paperwork. So now the driver will do it so there is no excuse. I said " $35 Drays and now this?" Why are you here? They just laughed. These people are really out there. Another Road Driver quit this week citing harassment from safety in Ohio. It seems Ohio was accusing the Driver of going over on his logs. They told him he needed training. He said "Im an O/O. I dont need Training. I only Drive 6 hrs a day. Im not your Employee." This Company has really Changed in the past year. All downhill. They seem to be going "Anti Trucker." Im hearing stories of Mgment talking down to the drivers and finding ways to get even with them for refusing runs. Drivers Stay Away from this place!

companies like trans international do a lot of continuous advertising because they cannot keep anyone. this is one company that does that. word among drivers spreads about the good paying companies so they usually hold on to their oo,s.

This Company always advertises they have Comdata cards with No Swipe Fees. It was in all their Ads. Well, they got called out taking the fees off the settlements on a run by run basis. Same day they got called out on it, they yanked every advertisement in every City off Craigs. Now they list the Comdata Fees on the Settlement sheets. They are also hammering O/O for having a Rider. Whether it be your kids or Wife, they dont care. They are even calling the DOT to report you if they suspect you have a rider. Also, their Fuel Surcharge.....Rumor was around they were not passing the FSC to the O/O. Turns out, it may be true. National average for the FSC is 63 cents this week. According to TRNJ, they claim they are paying 33 cents. Its interesting they can fly people back and forth all week long from Ohio, Rental Cars, Hotels, Expense accounts, Security Cameras. But they tell the O/O to get lost if they b*t@h they want what is theirs to begin with.

Well, not much to say after reading all this. Everything written above is all true. I recently left this place. And yes, its a Train wreck. To top that off, there are Security issues on that yard. Trucks being tampered with after hours etc. I think they need to change their name to "Trans International Freight Forwarding Company." There is no way they can be surviving by running O/O Trucks. However, I did notice they favor O/O who use their baseplate and Ins. The Management also talks to you like you were born yesterday. And if you complain about the rates, they pull random drug screens/Truck inspections on ya. Im runnin and aint lookin back!

I hear another O/O got shafted over there 2 weeks ago. His settlement was short because what he wasnt paid what was quoted. He parked his truck until he was compensated correctly. Trans went out and removed his placards off his Truck. Horrible Company. Stay away. Good Luck OilSlick. Hope you got out before it was too late.

I contacted the Office In Ohio wanting to know where my Escrow was. It was 45 days. Spoke to a guy named Sean. He informed me there were no Charges on me except for some Ifta. I would be getting my Escrow back. Got the Check in the Mail today and it is for 875.98. 3.34 for IFTA 124.34 for "Pulled wrong Chassis for Yang Ming Equipment." Been in Drayage 5 years. Never heard of this Garbage. And I know this never happened. So they stole some of my Escrow. Just wanted to put it out there for all to see. Also spoke to another Road Driver who is still there at TRNJ. He said it was real Bad. Nothing but Cheap Freight and Thievery.

i would inform ba$tard$ they need send the paper work on that wrong chassis for your inspection. under law they have to when they deduct money on escrow. i would then file case against them in small claims court & charge them for your day off as well to go court. if they don't show up it's auto your favor. put judgement on their a$$. you can do property lien also. if they try borrow money a judgement cause a lot of issues in credit.

Hey Folks. Saw something on CL that flew the Red flags high. Trans is running an ad on CL stating a $1g Bonus and $1500. after Fuel per week. This is a crock. You are lucky you can make $1500 gross over there. I was at Kenworth yesterday and looked over at their yard. All their Local Trucks were parked as usual. Gettin the word out they are liars! Especially Teresa Harvey. Im back quet.

$15 a week after fuel is only driver pay. why can't these guys understand that. this is not a business. it's a bad f%^k*nG joke. your being screwed over everyday by pros. a good used truck cost 30-40 thosand or more. you call yourself a owner operator? you settle for 15hundred after fuel a week? anyone who works for this cheap s#^t rate deserves exactly what they get from the cheats. sorry but that is true. maybe the real stupids need more thinning out before things get better.
