Why are we competing for work with a fleet of trucks running farm tags?I thought DMV issued farm tags were for "farm to market" use.If you can use them to run state wide, year round then why are we paying big bucks on "for hire" tags?Another case of "not what you know, but WHO"

farm tag is for agriculture loads only. i know guys who ran logging tags pulling containers but those days are over. i don't know how they would get away with farm tags if leased to a carrier?

Salmons , that is who I thought OOmad might have been seeing . This is a privately owned grain buyer located in the Black water area of Va Beach . They buy grain from local farmers through out Va Beach and Chesapeake and sometimes North Carolina and export the grain out of the country in the containers we see the little yellow trucks pulling around . I have pulled hopper bottoms full of corn and beans to Salmons storage facility in the past . So I guess they are technically a farm .
