is there a set base fee on an apportioned tag? i have only run a georgia tag on my truck for the last seven years but i want to start a new job where i will run ga,sc,nc,va. any trip i made before i purchased temp permits but that will get expensive fast. do i have to go to atlanta to pick this up?

the cost of tag depends on how many miles and in what states you want to travel

don't forget the sr 2290 for highway use tax. it's about $180 bucks now with discounted rate for ending march. wait til next saturday and it is reduced to $130 and some change ontil april first.
