here is a idea. how about calling for a large driver meeting. get every driver possible to come. we decide how much we can work for and everyone sign a pact together not to haul for any less. we will elect people to present this to each trucking company. the companies that don't want to pay we refuse to work for them. i know somebody at one time has probably tried this? if so what happened?

do not think it is legal for owner operator truckers to demand same price. i was told by drivers who tried doing that before.

1st call meeting . see how many come? exchange ideas in orderly fashion. out of all thses drivers there has to be good suggestions. something is better then nothing. right now we have the latter.

That's called antitrust if we conspire together to fix prices but it's the American way if the big oil companies do it. |

its also good for trucking companys. notice they each pay same price to owner,op where ever you go. so why not do same back at them  |

Good idea, I hope you can make this happen. Truckers sure need some communication out here. The only way that's going to happen is working together so have your meeting to see where you stand. |
