i thought you were an independent contractor? so that means it's your truk. your decision to pull load. so why did you refuse loads? what does it say in the lease?

I am a independent contractor. and it says in the contract and the owner of the company says the contractor says you can refuse the load. then he says if you do they will have to re evaluate if your services are what they need , after you do it . then they break the contract like little b*t@hes

I'm curious too. Why did you refuse these particular loads? I'm not saying that is wrong because I won't pull loads that don't pay what I need to operate. I also don't go into certain areas so I guess I'm picky with my truck. That's one advantage of not driving a company owned truck.

no , nothing extra for over weight and the loads are generally very heavy. and bobtail only pays $12.50 so I was going in the hole every time I bobtailed. I had bobtailed first thing in the morning from my house which they dont pay first bobtail , then they tried to force me to bobtail to NIT a 3rd time. I asked for something from APM just to have a change of scenery . they refused and sent me home without work They say you can refuse a load but then if you do , they have to "re-evaluate " if you fit into their program and fit their needs

the majority of these companies are no better then what agent is running it in local area. most don't care what the agent does as long as they are a producer and no bad incidents costing company. f*^k truckers who do the work for them. we are recyclable trash the company can pickup anywhere.
