Hurricane Sandy has caused outrageous lines in both APM and NIT,especially in the afternoons. This is to be expected until things return to normal up north. I`ve been pleasantly surprised by the almost non-exsistent b*t@hing.Proud of all the people I work around who realize this isn`t normal, and quietly deal with it.Even the ILA folks are working at a faster pace, most with a good attitude.Hope they don`t walk in January, but if they do I will support them, and encourage all to do the same. Anyway,Virginia port truckers, you rock!!!

too bad the port doesn't think enough of us to hire the correct amount of workers from the hall but we're simply peasants here to please the 1%. after the holidays, i'm thinking unless i see a major attitude change-which isn't gonna happen- maybe it's time to find another line of trucking after fifteen years of this port bs.jus my thoughts

i'm thinking after ten years of this crap there seems no change any time soon. i know some of the drivers here have been at this a lot longer so i respect their thoughts on this subject. port trucking really looks to me as headed from bad to a lot worse i am looking around now for something else that maybe has a future for me and my truck.
