;D I know this is bad timing posting this because of the impending Strike. My Agent who runs the CTI Yard is begging me to find him Road Drivers. He has an ad on CL but said he gets very little calls for obvious reasons. So I am an O/O Leased on to this Company and wanna lay it out with no BS. Keep in mind Im a 20 yr Veteran. Have an IC plate.
Been working with CTI placards on my Truck for 11 months now and am very happy workin for the Guy. His name is Sean Kennedy. Pay is always right and the runs pay very well. Runs are based on percentage plus Fuel both ways. Dude bids no cheap freight. My truck averages 700-1060. a day gross. But his catch is you better be on time, do your logs right and keep up on the Truck. Runs go all over. Might run to Joplin one week more than once or run to Jersey, Tenn, SC or FL. Freight is also of legal weight unless customer wants to pay for overweight. Then we get ours. Tires are your problem so just make sure you dont blow any. If there are any of you who have your own Authority Sean can hook you up as well. I believe he pays 85% but you front the Fuel. Im hoping I dont get any Bozos responding to this with "Im full of Shizz." I wanted to put it out there that there is actually a decent place to run a truck. Place is located at 289 Telfair rd in the back next to PB yard. Thanks for reading Drivers.

Well, right now, you posted undesirable areas we mostly travel in. But dont go to the areas you desire. The Steamship Lines are fighting with NJ, NY and Va. Turnaround times there are very slow. So the Lines are stopping in CHS or SAV and droppin stuff meant for the NorthEast or TX, FL. As far as average per mile, it doesnt pertain to the situation. And it fluxes every week. My truck averages $2700 to $4300 a week gross. Could be 5 day or 6 day work schedule. And Depends on the loads. (If I remember correctly, Intermodal isnt allowed in Ar anyway. They will fine you and escort you back to the state line.) CTI pays on percentage. He deals with the Customers and demands the rates. They take it or walk. That simple. Sean is an Ex O/O. Good Luck!
