let's try this then , explain to me why I should support a large group of people who do everything possible to slow the drivers down instead of trying to speed up and get us in and out of the ports so we can do our jobs? They complain about what they are losing but could care less about the lost revenues the drivers are suffering because of the lenghth of time it takes to get in and out of the piers. In the 19 years I have been pulling containers only a hand full of ILA people have stepped up and tried to help these drivers in Va. and I can name each and everyone of them.

shortcircut , it looks like you are beating a dead horse LOL . the ILA seems to want the world to revolve aroud them and doesnt seem to care about the financial damage they will do to the others who are struggling to survive ...

Henry , I like believe that what ever happens , everyone loses from it. You are right , containers will come and go , ILA will come and go, and, truckers will come and go . Its just a shame the ILA are making it soley about them. I have never seen the ILA support drivers so why should the drivers support them ? although its is hard to understand, maybe ShortCircut has some what of a point . Everyone will be affected by the selfish actions of the ILA , from the drivers both owner op and company driver who wont be able to work , to their familes who depend on the drivers incomes. then there is the general public who will most likely see a price increase in general goods....

Don't dare support the I.L.A they have never supported truckers and they won't. They are the problem and they better start driving containers. They are devils, and enemies of this country. They are federally governed and have many obligations to this nation as do we. We move massive freight safely imagine if we scoffed our responsibilities and manipulated the gray areas in trucking and delivery. How could families be safe on the road, merchandise reach its destination America function. When they finish raped the time and money off the load the release you to face the worst part of delivery. Angry customers, heavy traffic and law enforcement. It's contradictory for them to be overpaid hourly and were piece (of s#*t) working. Other than these low rate gypsy's that drive no matter what the weak-hearted driver is the next worse. They're newbies who are in love with driving the truck and some are drivers in love with companies taking a F_CK! Lol
