hey i think u guys in savannah georgia should start another trucking assoc. not container movers but for all truckers around here. the rates suck no matter what u pull in this area.not only that but the georgia dot is out for blood or maybe u should hold meetings and invite the dot to attend. i would be willing to come to this but not another container mover club. talk around and see for yourself. i think u will find others willing to take part. if i could i would but i am no public speaker or organizer. i know some of u guys on here can so why not do it for rest of us?

I know a few people who would be willing to help form a new trucker organization in Savannah, that is if there are enough drivers interested who would take an active part in an association. A group should include all truckers who operate on both sides of the river in GA/SC. Truckers not only need a voice on important issues but this could be a great opportunity to start an educational process which is desperately needed in the face of all the new regulations now being enforced. We also need to meet and exchange contacts along with info on who pays and who doesn't pay. Now we'll see how many want to really better themself?

this is the best idea i've heard. i know a few truckers who will attend if a serious meeting is announced. including all area truckers is a better plan yet. not just ones who haul containers. everyone needs to be involved. drivers need to work at making the coastal empire a better paying place for the owner, operator. this has always been a big freight port city so these current trucking problems are on us to correct. drivers have the power to boycott these cheap brokers and trucking companies but first let's clean our own house. we must start from scratch to unite ga truckers.
