who would be the contact person to call a meeting in this city. i have been told that savannah drivers had a group at one time several years ago. is it posible to start another one?

any thing is better then what we ave now. i here this every day at port from other drivers but see no one doing any thing about it. maybe we ned a goup like ooida? i went to the union driver meeting a few times but that is not for drivers who own trucks. we ned our own group to work for us.

a few local drivers getting together to discuss options would be good by me. that's fine but i won't be back if that same bunch from atlanta has anything to do with your meeting. i'm taking about that union guy from atlanta who didn't feel he needed to answer our d**n questions. we don't need anymore of that bs. what we do need is a different approach to these issues the majority of us face each day as lease operators.

no union unless ila helps. we need more money or shutdown like the guys in california. first we need a lot of port drivers to step up be counted.

the longshormen would be a good deal. if they will help? does any of you think that would have a chance? the way i see is they have a lot to gain by working wit us but who knows. usually when somethng makes perfct sense it doesn't work out.
