if you think that the lines at the port will get any better you are fooling yourself . have been hauling containers for about 20 years and it only gets worse every year.I found an article on the internet dated jan 2004 where joe dorto said he was going to make wait time for truckers better.he was gen manager then. he retired in 2013 as ceo. so if you think this will be fixed think again.I do not blame the port I blame us drivers for letting them treat us like we dont matter. I would say we could fix this but we cant, or are not willing to. so get used to these lines I am gone first chance I get.

yeah you are correct hand. truckers have the power to fix this mess but getting that done is like herding cats. trying to get anyone together today is hopeless. the problem is clearly us. we have no guts to force these clowns to do a d**n thing. nope, it wouldn't take a week of no trucks at the piers before they started fixing problems quickly. no trucks, no containers, no freight moving but how many drivers will stop? i bet maybe fifty if you got them all mad enough but that number should be one thousand. sad , so very sad! i give up trying to figure this out. maybe someday the tide will turn but i too will be long gone.

Lets make it about us Hampton Roads Truckers. Bring the pain to them. This Friday {3/07/14}, take the day off or take the truck to the shop. Make it a three day weekend or a mini-vacation. Pass the word on channel -19... No Ports Day! Happy Sitting...
