Enjoy everyone, the movement is starting in the east again.. Make it grow, join up.. This is the official porttrucker facebook page for everyone to join.. There's more in store soon. This not just one port but every trucker moving port freight in the east is invited to join. Port cargo is everything that moves into or out of the docks or inland rail yards. Watch the membership grow. Power is in numbers. Want to get someones attention? Grow the numbers.. This happened many years back but their was a confusion of action plans. Let's see how large this movement becomes and how fast we grow adequate numbers! www.facebook.com/pages/Porttrucker/878945348839647Much more later!

Spread the word throughout Tidewater.. Let's lock up together port to port... Another Facebook introduction. It looks impressive. First impression are important. I do NOT want to wait for a year, a month, a week, a day. Please don't go the route of Funny-Facebook joke (The Playpen Movement). I, myself do NOT wait b/c every day I go into port I lose. I lose Time, Money, Productivity. I make it a habit to call (or email) them for expediency in their process of operation. I stand alone according to my peers that I can-not do it alone, but I figure an eye for an eye. Track record is about eight out ten every time I call. So why wait?
One man crusade is my personal motto. I am willing to help whenever a driver is will to listen and learn. Today's drivers are naïve and are afraid. They ARE the problem. But realize that hope can bring a change. Action is better than silence.

True action is better than silence but a half baked stupid action is the ultimate death to any new movement. Yes this has been going on for years - too long. Many years ago the majority of us fell for this slow process of talk, meetings, port formed committees. The smiling diplomacy never ends. Anyway that's placing the cart before the horse. That can be done later after industry management sees truckers mean real business. Currently they view the majority of us as little more than uneducated cave dwellers with a CDL. No this is not going to be a passive brunch-n-tea party group. Those days are over. These people don't need to form any more study groups, committees, or sub-committees, nor be informed what's going on just outside their window. They have known for years yet they allow this madness to continue on their watch. NO, they need to meet this animal they've had a hand in creating face to face.. The movement is growing and now is the time to bring everyone on board not go ballistic outside/inside the gates. I have spoken with several Virginia truckers since the weekend and they agree. It's time to kick a$$ in this industry but not until we raise the proper numbers. A few wildcat shutdowns or strikes covered/scattered/smothered like a plate of hash browns at Waffle House are going to only implode on the drivers. The fallout from that will all but make it impossible to organize anything else this year. YES, we have a plan, A proven plan. YES, it will work. NO, it will not be discussed openly on here or in public but will soon be disclosed to a select group of truckers who can keep their mouth shut. Maybe we can do that by inviting people to meet in a mutual location very soon. Everyone will know most of the workings of that strategy right before time comes to implement such a bold plan. Our concern now is building strength in numbers because without that we can go back to senseless micro job actions!

In case you haven't notice, it's April. Freight is picking up. Little Boy Director is promoting himself as the savior of the H.R. trucking community. Fourteen months (and counting) and it seems as no one has an urgency to get something done. Kool-Aid fed to the little rascals of FTBT by management of the ports and soon to be entertain by a happy meal event. Self interest, maybe. But after 14-months maybe its the fools that like and follow them that its separating the boys from the men in this industry. As owner-operators, there’s always more to learn about the business of trucking. Stay alert drivers. Action is better than silence.

Fighting for the cause... the story won't air tonight, but soon. Andy Fox appearance produced a miracle, additional lifters and eliminated the back up on Harpers rd. - Must be delusional! (From your friendly neighborhood A-Clown)

As a special note: The FTBT Director will be a guest speaker at the VMA Trade conference to voice your concerns to a broad audience. We encourage port drivers to support John's initiative and stand in solidarity along with him May 14th.
Note: Total hypocrisy. One driver protests for real and direct injustice outside, and another lavishes in decadence at a $350 dinner inside.
