yeah, driving keeps me busy too. the trucking rates are so d**n cheap up here you have to drive 24/7 to survive. too bad tony didn't take his fifteen minutes of print fame to explain some of the real trucker problems working the port that we have in tidewater virginia. so far as this new driver association ooc is concerned they are clueless when it comes to any plan of action. i have been up here doing this type work for eighteen years now and the ooc leadership in this assoc is determined to repeat all the same stupid mistakes everyone made with the last three trucking groups. somebody needs to educate these guys badly on the what can really be done to fix these sever problems we have.

I attended a few of their meeting but didn't hear anything but talk. We need someone badly that has a real game plan in Hampton Roads. Maybe someone on this board can talk some sense to our fearless leaders up here or just start from scratch?

I realize you have heard it before, but believe me it's coming, just need a little more time. If you need some details now, just go to the board, look up Hardtimetrucker, and let him send you a download of what will take shape. Buddy, its not even close to the fat lady singing yet, but she is starting to warm up her vocal cords.

I think the trucker group OOC had a meeting in Norfolk Saturday morning. I was going to go but had something come up at the last minute. All I heard was there were very few people over at the meeting but beyond that I don't know what took place. Maybe someone here knows more details?
