Yes, I picked up a leaflet at I-26 (172) that said the TWIC drivers are going to refuse to work on December 1st the day TWIC enforcement begins at the ports of Charleston, Savannah, & Jacksonville. A very interesting development I must say. I will park my truck that day (due to a strict maintenance schedule) and maybe check out whatever festivities are planned.

You mean to tell me that all drivers in Savannah, are going to be working on their trucks on December 1st.? Do you realize the parts dealers are going to be crazy with business. I don't want to be in the port by myself, so I guess I will fix that truck I don't own. Anyone need my donkeyistance on December 1st to fix their rigs?

short circut here in Va. I wish these guys here could put their differences aside and come together as a group like you guys have. Did you guys that do have your TWIC curdentials ( spelled wrong intentionally) have any problems with the system supposedly being down?

Not enough freight to to anything. GPA looked like a ghost town. Wide open to the speaker boxes. Some companies have only a few drivers with the TWIC. It's gonna be tight for the incoming new year!

Review of current situation. Drivers did not get TWIC. Some anyhow. Freight low. Companies do not want inventory , afterall that is actually paid for product, and if no buyers why buy from others. No one to sell to. A couple months go by, people start buying again. Some drivers left the business, some companies folded. Ones who hung in are the beneficiaries of better times. Firms start buyig again, markets improve, economy stabilizes, all back to normal. Slowly it will all turn around, no matter how our new and improved government tried to screw it all up. Next you will see inflation due to reductions in products and services. If we keep Nancy Polosi out of our business, it will get much better quicker. She is an absolute dumbo.
