Georgia port gets only one stop on Oceania Americas service Maersk Line announced plans to adjust the port rotation of its Oceania Americas Service (OC1), effective in May.
In an advisory to the trade, the carrier said it is suspending the existing northbound call at Savannah.
“Savannah will still be called on the southbound voyage,” the Danish carrier stated.
The revised OC1 rotation will be Philadelphia, Savannah, Balboa, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Timaru, Port Chalmers, Napier, Tauranga, Auckland, Manzanillo, and back to Philadelphia.
The company said the change will help improve schedule integrity and reliability on the route.
