Georgia is pushing for a new rail service to the Atlanta area. Word is the rail will replace over 200,000 truckers hauling from the port of Savannah, GA.

By the time they complete that massive project the amount of cans being shipped inland by truck to Atlanta will be four times that figure. The port is always running off at the mouth how easy it is to replace the truck with the train. I guess they don't figure what goes on at the other end with the box?

actually the georgia port authority needs special trains to haul off the tremendous amount of bs that they are always blurting out. their propaganda campaign constantly dishes out heaps of bs to wooo the general public into thinking the gpa is responsible for creating 286,000 wonderful paying jobs. in reality two thirds pay no more than poverty wages.
