Four tractor-trailers collided this morning on Interstate 664 at the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, Virginia State Police said.
One driver was injured in the chain reaction crash, which happened before 10 a.m. in the northbound lanes, said Sgt. Michelle Cotten, a spokeswoman for State Police.
The crash stopped northbound traffic, which was rerouted to the James River Bridge via U.S. 17.
State Police are investigating. Two of the tractor trailers will need to be towed, and northbound lanes are not expected to be open before noon, Cotten said.
