TRUCKER MEETING Monday – AUGUST 25th, 2008 @ 6PM QUAIL RUN LODGE (OLD AIRPORT) 1130 BOB HARMON RD. It’s that time of year again, “TRUCK DRIVER APPRECIATION WEEK!” August 24 – 30, 2008 Of course the Ocean Shipping Industry has shown all year long how much they appreciate our services by further driving down highway rates. The GPA shows truckers appreciation weekly by holding each of us hostage for hours waiting in never ending lines because they don’t consider our time valuable as long as the box gets moved before they close the port gate. Now what about our trucking companies? Well that pretty much just speaks for it self doesn’t it! Remember how they stood up for us a few months ago without any disruption collecting all the big wonderful fuel surcharges to help us each out? THIS MEETING IS FOR LOCAL & OVER THE ROAD TRUCKERS WHO HAUL CONTAINERIZED CARGO. We have a plan to fix this big mess! Intermodal Owner Drivers Association, Inc. www.porttrucker.com
