I noticed today several of these trucking companies in the Southeast are advertising for O/O's to pull containers at .87 per mile. Just for kicks I called one to find what their fuel surcharge was. They told me the FSC averages the mileage pay out to a whopping .95 per mile. It cost you .50 per mile for just fuel @ five miles to a gallon, that's actual driving miles not book miles so that really leaves the driver less than .40 per mile to pay truck expenses, maintenance cost, tires, tag, parts, insurance, truck payment , and yourself a little something! It seems there is no short supply of F  :oLS that are willing to pull this crap for nothing. I just don't understand. What are drivers thinking when they hook up to cans with rates like this. Are they wanting to ride, talk on the CB, get away from family members, or enjoy living in poverty? What makes people willing to do this type work for peanuts....  |

to tell you how bad Evans is, they charged 2 escrow fees, one for KAJE and one for Evans. I haven't recieved a dime back. The agent in charge said he didn't know there were any problems with the truck, yet after talking with fellow drivers, I found out that there were 4 drivers in the truck from Nov to April before I got in it and all 4 quit because the truck is a piece of s#*t that is falling apart
