At the same meeting, GPA Chief Operating Officer Curtis J. Container tonnage increased by 12.3 percent compared to the previous year and vessel calls to all terminals increased by 15.1 percent. The port rotation of the Indamex service is currently as follows: Nhava Sheva, Mundra, New York, Norfolk, Charleston, Jedda, Karachi and back to Nhava Sheva. The GPA said that with the addition of the Indamex, Savannah now provides service to all major Indian ports – Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Chennai – and will better fill India’s growing demand for export commodities such as fabrics, cotton, paper, paperboard and wood pulp.
