Just wondering if any of you other Drivers have had any incidents with the Woman that works the Dry Stack at TRAPAC. I believe that her name is Christie. She is very rude and downright belligerent to the very people that she is supposed to be there to help, us Drivers. It does no good to ask her for any assistance when her standard answer is to call your Dispatcher. Last I checked my Dispatcher had no control over anything at the Port. I have been told that she has had several Drivers banned from the Port for such things as just disagreeing with her analogy of a particular problem.

WOW, we should give these belligerent people a special place on this forum with name recognition. They seem to be at every terminal I deal with and happen to know everything there is to know about nothing that matters. I think they also most all work by the hour so this leaves them plenty of time to practice being an a$$hole.

I was Banned at TRAPAC on January 14 by this person that you are referring to. I had brought a Load in and had gotten Trouble ticket for my Empty out stating that there were no empty reefers available. I went ahead and dropped my Load and the Supervisor Mr Boatright stated that there were in fact Reefers available but they had to be mounted. I went to the Trouble Kiosk to clear the Ticket and the Nice Person on the Speaker Box said the Printers were down up there to go and see one of the Clerks in the Trucks working the Stack and that they could print a new Ticket in the Truck so that is what I did. The person in Question here was very rude and belligerent towards me and would not give me an opportunity to even explain the problem. She just wanted Curse at someone and happened to be that someone. She said I needed to call my Dispatcher, I told her I already had and the the Printer is not working up front. She said call them back cause she does not work for our Company and she launched into another tirade. When she finished I stated to her "You Flipping People are amazing you would rather spend 15 minutes making a problem worse than 2 minutes making it better." At this point she had already dropped the "F" Bomb several times and it was about to fall again.When she said then that she would just ban my Motherf***ing A$$ and then maybe I could call the Dispatcher again like she said in the beginning . At this point in a very calm voice I went ahead and told her to whatever the F**k makes her happy and walked back over to my Truck. The guy that we usually use for problems such as this pulled up in front of my Truck and he said if you would of come to me I could have printed that ticket for you but she has called for Security to come and escort you out of the Terminal. Of course he was not on the Terminal when all of this began and that is why I did not use him instead. I followed the Security Captain and her Officer outside the Terminal as I was ordered and a Formal Report was initiated. The Person in question came out to where we were at and started yelling at me all over again about how I was rude and disrespectful and resented her authority as a Port Clerk and that I would not just do what she told me to do. I tried desperately to ignore her but she would not shut up long enough for anyone to speak. The Security Captain finally got her to leave the area and they finished taking my information. I was told not to return to the Port Terminal until they, The Security Company, had notified me that it was OK for me to return. After 2 weeks of daily calls to the Port and having to have other people pull my boxes in and out of the gate for me I caught one of the Operations people at the Kangaroo Fuel Stop on New Berlin Rd and asked who I needed to call to resolve the issue. He took my info and called Security. The Captain called me back almost instantaneously and stated. "You were cleared the very same day by other Drivers who witnessed the actions of this employee. Your Company was notified of this and a Fax stating all of what I have told you was sent to their Office you can come and go as you please with full access." I have not had any other problems out there whatsoever. The Company that I work for claimed that they never got the Fax but when I got my Monthly Activity Pack from them covering what I had done for the Month there was a copy of it in the Packet. Go Figure.

Typical, most companies don't give a d**n because they usually have plenty others to haul the loads. Even more so now because freight is off, they didn't need you & what's more important, it's costing you not them. We have no voice the way it stands today. It's same here in Charleston.
