Beware truckers when using the 24/7 emergency road dispatch service called DOWNTIME in Georgia or lower SC. The 24hr dispatch service belongs to Dorsey Tire Company in Pooler, GA. They send whatever road service company is on their rotation list availible and these folk have all different prices no standard set price. The ones out of Soperton, GA will rip you off if you have a break down or tire trouble on I-16. We found out the hard way. The service call was twice as much as others charge and d**n recap tires were $60.00 more a piece as we had to have two replaced. We'll know better next time.

Downtime is Billy Dorsey tire road service in Savannah who runs this company but they use companies on call that all have different prices. u get stung when they arrive on the road to make tire repairs. there should be a standard system of prices.

same thing happened to us. we had three separate tire purchases done within a seventy five mile radius over a month long period. each time the exact same tires were different prices. not just a little but as much as $90 dollars in price per tire and different road charges. if they have no control over the vendors ripping us why bother with a central dispatch making it look like one company.

Do not use Southside tire in chesapeake. They screw trucker with bad caps and crappy used tires.
I swithed to proper tire and they stand behind there caps.

That guy Bob at southside quoted me one price for steer tires and tried to charge me more after they were put on so I made him take them back off.

INTERSTAR IS THE WORSE DOWNTIME FLEET HAS BETTER SERVICE AND TIRES, AND THEY ARE QUICK WITH RESPONSE TIME, INTERSTAR WILL RAPE YOU ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.I SAT ON THE ROAD FOR 5 HOURS FOR ONE TIRE AND THEY BROUGHT ME A USED ONE IT WASN'T EVEN A RECAP AND CHARGED ME $400.00 SCREW INTERSTAR.

To be honest i don't know about it and thanks for a good information.Lately i am planning to migrate in Helsinki in fact i already know some moving company at niemi.fi/ that will help me and this info is very helpful for me cause i already drive in that place but did not yet experience it. |
