I am about to hit my 5 day visitations on Monday. I am O/O and I am not leased with a company. I do have contracts with brokers though. The people at Portsmouth kept telling me that I needed to do some other forms to run containers out of the port and some SCAC number. The broker I run for has a SCAC number and the other documentations. When I checked the Port ID instructions. I don't see these things anywhere in the paperwork. On the company registration, there is no mention of these numbers. On the Personal Registration there is no mention of these numbers either. Someone please clear up for me if all I need is the TWIC like it says on the Port website (vit.org), or if I do have to be milked for another 290+60 so I 'may' work.
Thank you.

I trip lease to the motor carriers, have port credential and TWIC driver. Find it better than lease since last one bankrupted on me taking two weeks pay along with escrow so I have no desire to lease. How do you have an unescorted day pass?
