I don't know about the rest of you drivers , but, I am going to seriously look into leasing or buying a chassis to pull in and out of these ports. These M&R lines are getting way too long and the minor things that drivers are being sent to M&R for are rediculous. I am going to beat them at their own game LOL !

That's the way to go man. Chassis situation has degraded nationwide. So says the JOC. The US of A is the only country in the world that steamship lines provide chassis for customers. It's coming to an end so be prepared for the beginning of a new adventure next year.

Has anyone heard anything about , when a chassis has been written up and has to go to M&R , the driver can pull off to the side , ask for the supervisor , and dispute whether or not it has to go to M&R to be checked by the mechanics. I was told once it was printed on the interchange receipt , that it had to be inspected by the M&R mechanic then stamped before the container can leave the terminal.
