Why the h*ll are you only paying 74% of the fuel? Your a** sits behind a desk and doesn't buy fuel at all,so why are you keeping 26% when the customer pays you 100% to give to your truck drivers? This is obvious stealing and there's no telling how much other stuff you skim under the desk from the money that should be going to the trucks.
Thanks for letting me know where NOT put my truck if things ever got real bad out there.

why would any company keep any % of the fuel surcharge? oh geeee i forgot, gotto fuel that boat & suv for the weekend. my mistake!

Fuel surcharge belongs to the one that pumps and pays for the diesel. This is a clear example of what everyone is upset about. Talk about driver negativity on this forum  |

BigDaddy takes 10% of the fuel surcharge collected from the customer. At least that's the post they made yesterday before removing it from this forum. Why they feel as if any part of the FSC belongs to them is criminal in my book. How many others are doing this same thing but claiming they pay 100% of the FSC? How about the ones that are collecting this from customer but only paying the FSC on loaded miles? No wonder there are so many pi**ed off truckers on this forum  The game is up. They should each be exposed on this forum. Not only the bad ones but who are the ones that pay the most money also should be posted here. |

This kind of information is important for every trucker to know. The fuel surcharge is just that, a fuel surcharge to help off set the extra expense of the spike in fuel prices at the pump. This money is intended for the individual or truck owner who pays the fuel bill. If this BIGDADDYDRAYAGE is using this money from the customer for any other reason besides passing it on this is theft by deception. Wonder if their customers know that BIGDADDY is profiting from this money meant for diesel fuel? |

I thought most companies who had been doing this before had stopped the practice of taking from the FSC but I guess not. Your absolutely right, this money doesn't belong to them.

Yeah, and Big Daddy also charges $1.75 per Com-data transaction if you use the card they provide to buy your fuel.
