FYI--The HARDTIME forum board did not remove or censor any of the BIGDADDYDRAYAGE post that were made on this forum yesterday.
I see that the bigdaddy poster (whomever he/she is) has withdrawn their own post. Even though a lot of you were upset with what that individual had posted (judging from emails & a few phone calls last night) we do not believe in censorship of this site unless there are outright personal attacks on an individual.
Trucking companies are free to post on this site just like everyone else to make their point or advertise for drivers. That was the goal when this site was first created to allow free flowing information, opinions, ideas, without forcing anyone to reveal themselves or join any membership to post. Sometimes there are those that use this forum to blast everyone here for what we are doing or trying to accomplish but in general the board guest or members take care of those that make a complete fool of themselves. We hope within the coming New Year that the majority of drivers can work together with those trucking companies who really want to see some type stability brought back to this broken industry.
The rest of the companies, well we really don't care what happens to them... Until that time however the present system is designed only for unscrupulous players to advance and further corruption to continue.

The big players in this game really want us to fight among ourselves. Bottom line is that if we can increase the rates, companies and drivers will make more money.

I'm all for everyone working together to bring the rates up hardtime! We must make 2011 the year for this to happen. I like the idea of hauling for only those trucking companies that want the same. The rest can go in the crapper.

I hope somebody can actually put a "plug" in for a good company.I always worked for the little guy until just recently when fuel vs. weight became too much of an issue without a fuel surcharge. Now leased to one of the bigger companies.Too early to tell how it will work but I`m not impressed-yet.I would love to have an opportunity to succeed with an honest company, and by that I mean one who doesn`t bury the details in paperwork 3 inches thick.Near as I can tell they are all close to the same, mostly talking in circles when you try to pin them down to something. If things continue like this I guess I`ll buy another reefer and go back to sitting in a grocery warehouse lot somewhere.

sorry i can't help you on that. i suppose your talking about pulling containers right? I have been leased with five different companies in the past two years which all turned out to be full of bs. i am having better luck just trip/leasing running short haul and doing local port wk. there are very few agents out here that i say are trust worthy. i hope drivers decide they have had enough of this crap and we get something rolling this year for evrybodys sake. no i won't sit on the sidelines. i will participate and i will talk to others about how important it is to do something with big numbers. i do know that trucking is about to go through some big changes even if we do nothing.
