I just wanted to take one last chance to beg you all to stop trying to organize. We are scarred to death of what you might be able to accomplish. If this is what you expect to hear you are crazy, the rates you expect are in most cases ridiculous, although I do agree in many cases you need more. But if you think for one second the few of you who are actually willing to work at this will ever accomplish anything you really are certifiable. So best of luck to you and remember we truly are afraid of you all.

Well gismo some guys can't just up and leave the containers and a lot of companies know this, so this is why there are so many guys hauling containers but instead of bashing the drivers give some helpful info so that some may leave to move on to better jobs like you have some guys aren't as computer savy so if you could post info maybe just one or two may move on to better jobs, iam glad you got out and best of luck to you.

Great example what trucking company management in savannah think of us. So lets get back to work busting our chops and running our trucks into the ground for these ungrateful f^$k@rs.

whoopee! you drivers are really clever. the power you demonstrated as a team at the downtown meeting will surely spread like wild fire. this caught us completely off guard. we had no idea you had these embarrassing problems here in savannah. thank you for bringing this to our attention. come with your union or have them bring you in. either way they will get you a nice big contract without a doubt. the union is a great deal. call us when you have that contract in hand. we will sign anything you want. it shouldn't take long. maybe a week or two at the most. did they explain that to you? hurry now,we are anxious to sign. the team can speak for each of you now. we no longer have to communicate with any of you. in fact you no longer have to think for yourself. the team can make all decisions for you. not a problem. at least the team is better then those driver idiots who we had to fight with before. please don't bring any of them when you come. they were so unruly. all they wanted was to disrupt our freight. we are ready to make that deal with your new team.

I make my own decisions company man. It's called independent thinking. The majority of truckers here make their own decisions. Companies like you are the problem. If pr^c#s like you were to leave town it would be a blessing for all. Since that's not going to happen truckers are forced to look at other options. The teamsters were one of those options. From what I see now they are not such a good fit for independent truckers. That means you may still be dealing with a few of those rebel truckers you hate so bad from the past. I bet they would like to come bounce your head around the parking lot a time or two. If everyone would stick together we could disrupt freight for a month. I bet then you and your pals would be more willing to deal.

BTW: no team speaks for me nor does a moron like you. correct largecar - that's why they call us independent-truckers. i go where i make money or my truck moves again. i didn't purchase a truck to become someones employee again. been there done that. i see a lot of headache with someone messing with my status causing me additional tax problems. we already have the government in our business 24/7. why do we need more of that. we need to go after idiots like this agent who think they can pay whatever they feel after both parties sign a lease agreement.

da team doesn't speak for me either. dirt bags like you are why a few confused drivers follow anyone who offers help without first checking the facts. there won't be any lessee contract with the teamsters so keep your panties on. u may have to deal with those undesirable drivers after all. better hope they don't get something crazy going that disrupts your business right at prime time this year. it won't take much to fuel a fire here in savannah. a good hot summer may be the spark.

With MF's like that showing how they truly feel the end of this s#*t must beclose. He interupted his sex time with his mom to type that.

another typical day of bs at the georgia port. motor carriers see drivers here as complete fk*ng idiots. look around at what is behind the wheel of most trucks. that should give you a clue why they think this way. we have sh^t behind the wheel and sh^t behind the desk. our whole profession is really looking like sh*t. so are the trucks that some of these guys drive. no wonder the cops and trucking agents see us as an easy target. very few drivers have any respect even for each other down here at the gpa. so why do we think anyone else will? something has to change but first we must somehow clean our house of the rubbish which seems to have taken over during the last fifteen years.

Yes, sir no dispute there. I see the same s#*t but I'm about 1000 miles north. We need an industry make over, or since reality shows are mostly tragic and dysfunctional maybe we make one out of trucking. Whats sad is lazy housewives probably would'nt watch it but strong grown hardworking truckers keep driving.

a reality show based on port trucking would be a natural. the s#^t that goes on out here between the port management, their customers, and these idiots scattered about in the trucking company offices is more ridiculous then that stupid trailer park soap opera in myrtle beach. we also have a complete cast of rejects behind the wheel that would be perfect for this bs!

this is probably one of the same clowns offering a $1,000 sign on bonus for lease trucks. i got another two leaflets on my windshield this morning with bold print do ya wanna make big money pulling containers. if there was the big money at this port it would be hard to find an opening for a truck. i see hudd has made up signs stuck on the road side offering a $1,000 sign on bonus. nothing is free. they will screw their drivers out of that bonus within a few weeks if not sooner. i leased to this outfit ten years ago. they are still one of the bigger crooks in this business.

i always ask why the sign on bonus if company pays decent money? most companies who have a sign on bonuses are desperate because they have a big turnover problem. pay decent and keep the same truckers.

This kitty is so positive we are beaten, but like you said that turn over rate is off the chain. There should be a time lapse video showing drivers faces over time as they realize with every job same s#*t different toilet. Then let's lose our desire to eat their s#*t or take their s#*t then one magical day we won't haul their s#*t!

99% of these trucking company managers are a piece of sh#t. everyone knows this. been like this way for years. just worse now then ever because no one stands up against these pr*cks anymore. look around driver. do you really see change of any kind happening in out life time? it's a new world order at the gpa docks. every man for himself. no unity at all. total confusion. the companies do whatever they please without a peep from the drivers they hire. no worry about facing any flack from authorities. ok-you have a small handful of local truckers who would like to do something but they do not know how to get to first base. a few of them tried working with the union but that didn't work out. the teamsters made talking puppets of them. within a few months that little group of drivers saw the purple wizard behind the curtain pulling their strings so the cats' outa the bag on that deal. the rest out here are happy as monkeys with a fresh bag of peanuts. i will make this job work for me until christmas. after the first i'm going to take my truck elsewhere. there's no money in containers. plain and simple - that is unless your one of those agents who runs these dummies to death. yes without a doubt - they squeeze out the good money pushing paper work around the office. everything else is leftovers for dispatch to shovel into the parking lot.
